0x05 "Pod Complex"

Boy Met Zone. Boy Collected Zone. Boy Blogged Zone. Boy Raised Money to Podcast Zone. And this week, Boy Finds Out Launching a Podcast Ain’t All It’s Cracked Up to Be. Along the way things get a bit steamy as Craig lustily extols the virtues of The Twilight Zone's first (and best) season. Tuck the little ones in early and tune in.

0x04 "Kickstart Me Up"

This week, Craig talks about the crooked, awkward path that evolved him from blogger to podcast host, then hurls a heartfelt thanks to the kind (or deeply misguided) Kickstarter backers who made this podcast a reality (and yes, he names names so y’all know who to blame). Oh, and he pays loving (or mocking, it's hard to tell) tribute to the late, great Casey Kasem.

0x03 "Blog Day Afternoon"

In a showing of true mercy, Craig keeps this week’s mini-episode under 15 minutes long as he reels off the origin story of his not-quite-legendary blog, My Life in the Shadow of The Twilight Zone. He also briefly touches on his other (and possibly better) blog, My Life in the Glow of The Outer Limits. And… that’s pretty much it. Sheesh, what d’ya expect from a mini-episode?

0x02 "VideOCD"

Hoo-boy. You might wanna drink some coffee, or mainline a B12 shot, or at least prop your head up with a neck pillow or something. This week Craig goes into excruciatingly dry detail as he describes---- at soul-sucking and clock-defying length--- his history of collecting The Twilight Zone across three decades on multiple home video formats. “Mini-episode” my ass. You’ve been warned. On the upside, this episode may find a second life as an insomnia aid. Caveat emptozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

0x01 "Boy Meets Zone"

Still working out the bugs for iTunes and Google Play, but this'll do for now....

This podcast premieres on October 2nd. Then what the hell is this? It’s the first in a limited series of mini-episodes, designed to illuminate y’all about my history with The Twilight Zone, the blog I wrote about it, and the trials and tribulations of launching this damn thing. It’s basically the pre-show show. Well, part 1 of a 5-part pre-show show. Unconventional? Sure. Narcissistic? Perhaps. Listen anyway.

In this episode, Craig Beam drags you kicking and screaming into his own personal time machine to witness first hand his very first encounter with The Twilight Zone, which sparked a lifelong obsession that rages to this day. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll wonder how 17 minutes flew by so fast.
